What Did Queen Elizabeth Eat To Live So Long?

What did Queen Elizabeth eat to live so long? Are Steroids bad for you? Time for the truth

Hey legend!

🫅🏼 We have a number of hot topics to cover this week. Lets begin with the legendary her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, unless you have been breathing air through a straw fully submerged in a cold bath (yes that was a shootout to Jesse Itzler and Devon Levesque over the past couple of weeks), you have known that the longest serving British monarch has passed away. At 96 and her late husband 99, you're definitely right to assume she has been wearing a Whoop or Oura ring, intermittent fasting, and listening to David Sinclair's latest research on longevity. One thing is clear, she was very active mentally and physically even in at the later stages of her life and recent studies have statistically showed that as we age keeping our mind active plays a key roll in the quality of our health span.

If you are interested in what she ate on a regular basis, we did some research and she consistently had all of the following except for one. Can you guess which one it is (answer is at the bottom of this email)

  • Biscuits and tea

  • Toast and marmalade

  • Cereal with fruit

  • Smoked salmon with scrambled egg and truffle

  • Cod with asparagus

Thank you her majesty for you came into rule during a period where women were not expected to do so and inspired many to be strong… you have also set an amazing challenge for someone to take over your record… in order for King Charles to rule for longer than you… he will need to be 146 years old.

🇦🇺 Sydney Marathon For 6!

This week I went straight from CBS studios with Drew Barrymore to the airport, to fly to Sydney for the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival in an attempt to make Sydney the 6th Major Marathon in the world! We promoted the SIZZLE out of it! So for all of you who say the “I really want to go to Australia...” This could be the reason you do! Keep up to date as we keep pushing Sydney to join the other 5 major marathons (can you guess what they are?)

🍳 What’s Sizzling This Week

  • Roger Federer: It seems the topic of age continues… 20 time grand slam winner and considered to be the greatest and people champion of all time Federer announced his retirement… There is debate around if Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer were in their prime, who would win. Regardless the man has changed the sport forever and at 41, he must also be having what the queen was.

  • Patagonia is making Amazon, Alphabet, and Meta look bad. Could you imagine giving away BILLIONS of dollars, and not just billions BUT YOUR ENTIRE COMPANY? Yvon Chouinard, the long-time climate activist, climber, adventurer, and founder of Patagonia just sold 100% of his shares in the company and dedicated them to the planet! Moving forward, Patagonia's profits will be going to environmental non-profits working to solve climate change. This is baller.

  • Serena Williams (The GOAT) has retired or "is evolving" to put it in her own words, into a new phase of life where she is going to grow her family and pursue Serena Ventures. No one has impacted the game of tennis like Serena and she is up there with the very few who have ever affected sport at the level she has. Thank you Serena.

  • PK Subban, my mate and brother, has also announced his retirement after 13 incredible seasons in the NHL. Congratulations my brother, stoked for this next chapter to unfold. If you're interested in PK's game day meal check out the video here.
